EE Launch Settings

Modify /system/expressionengine/config/database.php with new database connection settings

Update URLs in all of the following places from the backend

Go to Tools > Utilities > Php Info and find document root to get your server URL(file path)

Admin:

1. General Configuration
   – URL to the root directory of your site.
   – URL to your themes folder
   – Theme folder path (path)
2. Channel Administration > Channels > Edit Preferences
   – Path Settings (Channel URL, Comment Page URL)
3. System Administration > Emoticon Preferences
   – URL to the directory containing your smileys
4. System Administration > Config File Editor
   – Cache Path
   – CP URL
5. Security and Privacy > Cookie Settings
   – Cookie Domain, Cookie Path
6. Security and Privacy > CAPTCHA Preferences
   – Server path to CAPTCHA folder
   – Full URL to CAPTCHA folder
7. Security and Privacy > Throttling Preferences
   – URL for redirect

Members:

1. Preferences
   – Server path for attachment upload directory
   – URL to avatar folder
   – Server path to avatar folder
   – URL to photos folder
   – Server path to photos folder
   – URL to signature image upload folder
   – Server path to signature image upload folder

Design:

1. Templates > Global Preferences
   – Basepath to template file directory

Content:

1. Files > File Upload Preferences
   – Remember to edit the server path and URL for each directory
